Eoghan Quigg a 15 year old schoolboy from County Derry in Northern Ireland took the auditions by storm with his heartwarming rendition or the Eric Clapton Song "Heaven".
The X Factor judges Simon Cowell, Louis Walsh, Cheryl Cole and Dannii Minogue absolutely loved the young x factor hopeful and a volley of 4 yes votes gave Eoghan his ticket to the tough boot camp stage of the popular television show.
Many have compared Eoghan Quigg's good looks and singing talent to the britains got talent winner George Sampson.
Dannii Minogue thought Eoghan was "adorable".
Cheryl Cole commented "I think you're so cute"
Louis Walsh said "You've got star quality"
Simon Cowell thought Eoghan was terrific with a good voice. He commented "Good voice, good looks, chicks are going to love you!"
At boot camp Eoghan sang "Chasing Cars" the popular Snow Patrol song and got a further 4 positive comments from the X Factor judges .
04.10.08 update Eoghan has now made it through to the judges houses stage of the competition and will be mentored by pop mogul Simon Cowell.
